Overview

We are seeking a Account Executive (Remote) to join our growing team working with our event products - Attendee Interactive, CoreApps, ExpoLogic, Configio, and TripBuilder.

Responsibilities & Qualifications

Position Summary

Responsible for developing new business in an assigned region by developing strong relationships and executing a best in class sales methodology. This role is expected to drive revenue in their assigned market/territory by closing net new business accounts and up-selling to existing accounts.

 

A Day in the Life

  • Track and achieve necessary core metrics and KPI's (daily, monthly, quarterly)
  • Meet or exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual goals set by management
  • Efficiently and profitably control the sales cycle: prospecting, cold calling, providing sales presentations both on site – if applicable - and remote, overcoming objections, generating proposals, and closing contracts
  • Maintain, increase and maximize the sales volume of accounts and market share by developing sales strategies for various contacts and prospect using analysis and account penetration strategies
  • Provide weekly reporting to sales management including Forecast (weekly, monthly, quarterly) and other KPI’s
  • Utilize CRM accurately to document and communicate all sales activity
  • Maintain updated competitor information, i.e.: their services and practices, and keep leadership informed on said practices
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Nurture relationships with all client contacts to foster long-term trust and increase the probability of retention

We are looking for someone who brings

· Experience:

  • 5+ years of inside and outside sales required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Experience handling customer escalations and mentoring peers
  • Experience prospecting large sized clients
  • Experience selling in the tech industry
  • A proven track record of successful prospect engagement

· Skills:

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral
  • Ability to manage multiple relationships well
  • Attention to detail with excellent organization skills
  • Contagious positivity
  • Effective time management skills
  • Ability to deliver presentations in a group setting
  • Experience with Salesforce.com
  • Limited travel may be required
  • Build successful relationships and partnerships at all organizational levels, internally, externally, intra and interdepartmentally

· Computer/Technical:

  • Proficient in Office 365 - Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and understand basic office software applications
